was born in 1978 in Ras Al Khaimah. She kicked off her artistic career in middle school, making pencil and watercolour portraits. She graduated from the UAE University in Al Ain with a degree in fine arts and attended art sessions in Iran, Italy and the United States.

Her aesthetic is consciously open to Arab and Western influences alike; an openness through which she seeks to refresh the art movement in the UAE. She actively contributes to the organisation of local art events promoted by the Ministry of Education and the Emirates Fine Arts Society.
