is a UAE national who spent his formative years contemplating the rolling hills of the English countryside. His love of nature travelled with him from the green landscape of the United Kingdom to the strikingly golden vistas of the Gulf; a contrast that recurs in the subject matter of his artwork. His charcoals and pastels also cover cityscapes and forms of the human body.
More recently, he concentrated on oil painting, exploring the vibrant dimensions of the technique. After taking home the first prize in the art competition organised by the Emirates Fine Art Society in Sharjah in 1991, Nabeel exhibited his work at the prestigious Abu Dhabi Cultural Foundation in 1992. In recent years, his work was displayed in the Ghaf Gallery, Alliance Française and the Théodore Monod French school in Abu Dhabi.
